bunq Payday is your weekly wrap up of everything you’ve earned with bunq: your interest, Cashback payout as well as all the trees you planted ✨

Which Bank Account will I receive the payout on and how can I change it?

To check the Bank Account you’re going to receive your payout on, follow the steps below:

Go to 👤 Profile
Scroll down and tap “bunq Payday”
See the payout Bank Account next to “Paid to”

If you have earnings in different currencies as well, these will be paid out in the oldest active Bank Account of those currencies. To receive earnings in a different currency, you need to have a Local Currency Bank Account opened in that same currency. However, if you don't have a Bank Account opened in a particular currency, we won't be able to pay out your interest in that currency.

Want to change it? You can only change your payout Bank Account to one of the same currency as your Payday earnings. To do so, follow the steps mentioned below:

Go to 👤 Profile
Scroll down and tap “bunq Payday”
Tap “Paid to” and select the desired Bank Account

What’s included in my bunq Payday?

MassInterest 💸 - Your MassInterest is paid out weekly, and you’ll be able to see a breakdown of what you earned daily. Keep in mind we calculate interest based on the lowest balance you have in your savings account each day.
Cashback 💰 - You can earn Cashback on all eligible Credit Card payments and see an overview of which payments have earned Cashback.
Total earnings 🤑 - Every time you receive your Payday, you’ll be able to keep track of how much you’ve earned in interest and Cashback in total, simply by using bunq!
Earn more Cashback with friends 💸 - As an Easy Bank Pro XL user, you can share your Cashback benefit with up to two friends. They can earn up to 1% Cashback on qualifying transactions, and when they do, you earn as well. This will reflect in your Payday.

Can I change my Payday?

Currently, we don't offer the option to change the weekday of your Payday, as it's automatically assigned to you.

How can I disable bunq Payday?

You can disable this feature by simply following the steps below:

Go to 👤 Profile
Scroll to bunq Payday and tap on it
Disable the toggle

Note: Keep in mind that by disabling this feature, you won’t receive MassInterest and Cashback.
