Hey bunqers 🌈
You've opened and enjoyed a bunq bank account, but now you're ready to close it. How do you do that?
Once your bank account is closed, it'll be stored in your Archived accounts (In the settings on your home page). You'll be able to reopen the account at anytime for up to 60 days after the closure date. After 60 days, the account will be permanently closed and you won't have the option to reopen it any longer. Check out this topic for more information.
Check out how to close a monetary account below:

Do you want to close a Joint account?
You can follow these easy steps:

A joint bank account is legally owned by all users it has been initially shared with and no new users can gain access to it at a later point in time, due to legal regulations. When the joint sub-account is closed - it's deactivated for all parties involved and can't be reactivated.
