What would happen if a high-risk payment is made with my card?
Sometimes it happens that your card details get exposed while using your card on fraudulent terminals. However, we make sure each bunqer’s card is protected from unrecognized payments 🛡️
When our system detects a high-risk payment or a repetitive one, this payment will be denied. You’ll get notified for that action via a notification.
What If the payment was done by me?
If the payment was done by you, you can follow the steps below to AutoAccept this merchant:
- Tap on the payment notification
- Tap on “Enable AutoAccept”
- Set a limit and retry the payment
- Done ✅
What If the payment wasn’t done by me?
You don’t need to worry about it, as we’re going to block the payment for you. However, we strongly recommend blocking the card and ordering a new one. This is the only way we can ensure no more fraudulent payments can be done on your account. You can now easily block your card and order a new one with just one tap within the payment event 🙌
Once a fraudulent payment is attempted, you’ll receive a notification in which we strongly advise you to block the card the payment was done with..
However, if the payment wasn’t blocked and was successfully done, you can proceed by requesting a chargeback. Further information on the matter can be found here.
Can I block a merchant?
Yes, you can! To do so, follow the steps mentioned here.
Where can I review my AutoAccepted and Blocked merchants?
You can get a clear overview of the merchants you’ve blocked and auto accepted by following the steps mentioned below:
- Go to 👤 Profile
- Tap on ⚙️ Settings
- Select the AutoAccepted or Blocked merchants
