  • How can I participate in proxy voting through bunq?

Hey bunqers 🌈,

If you own at least 1 full share of a company, you have the right to vote on important decisions through proxy voting. You can cast your vote remotely, often via an online ballot, instead of attending the shareholder meeting in person.

What is proxy voting?

Owning stocks means you hold a stake in a company, and as a shareholder, you can influence major company decisions through voting.

When it's time to vote, you will receive an email from our partner, Upvest, with instructions. Participation is optional, so if you’re not interested, simply disregard the email.

How can I see if I own a full share?

To see if you own a full share, follow these steps:

  1. Go to 📈 Stocks tab
  2. Tap on “Portfolio”
  3. Tap the stock
  4. Under "Position" you’ll see "shares owned"

How can I vote?

If you're eligible to vote, you’ll receive an email from Upvest with all the details. Simply follow the instructions in the email to cast your vote online.
