  • Personal premium and business in one

I currently have ny personal Bunq premium account with multiple IBAN’s and i am considering opening a business IBAN for my startup company.
What price plan do i need to choose and if i choose the business plan, will i be able to use my business accounts as well as my personal accounts in one app?

Will the price then be calculated as 9,99 total or 9,99 for business + 7,99 personal premium?

    Hi πŸ‘‹ @Sven-Magenta-Wolf-2549297928#58608

    Great to hear you also want to manage your business through bunq. 🌈

    To answer your questions, yes you can manage both accounts from the same app. By hard/long pressing the 'profile' button on the bottom you are able to switch quickly between multiple accounts. This is also where you can find the possibility to open a new business account, under 'more options'.

    As of the pricing, your bunq Premium membership of €7,99 will be billed from your personal billing account. The business membership of €9,99 will accordingly be billed from the business account you have setup for billing, these are both separate accounts.

    If you have any further questions let me know.

      @Sven-Magenta-Wolf-2549297928#58608 You can also start a Pack. That's 20 euro and includes 4 Premium memberships or 3 Premium Memberships and 1 Business membership.

      If you find two more people to join your pack and they pay 5 euro each ( 20 / 4 = 5 ) then it's cheaper for everybody involved. Usually you can find other people to join your pack easily here: https://together.bunq.com/d/561-sharing-the-bunq-pack_1

        And is there a possibility to use my business account as secondary account on my private card?

          @Sven-Magenta-Wolf-2549297928#58673 Yes! This is one of the main reasons why I'm so happy to use bunq. ❀️

            @herzkerl#58682 How will i be able to do this?

              @Sven-Magenta-Wolf-2549297928#58673

              Yes, like @herzkerl#58682 said this is possible. You can sent a connect from your business to your private account, (or the other way around) and add it as a DUAL-pin account to your card.

                @JeroenE#58612 I currently have a BUNQ account and so does my wife, at this time I'd like to move my business account from ABN to BUNQ how would I go about that and can I invite my wife to join the pack? wht would she have to do to make this go as smooth as possible?

                  @Ominira#234201 I'd like to move my business account from ABN to BUNQ how would I go about that

                  Just open a business account at bunq and start using it. You can then close your account at ABN if/when you don't need it anymore.

                  can I invite my wife to join the pack?

                  Yes. A pack can hold up to 3 personal accounts + 1 business account, or 4 personal accounts. But a pack is not required in order to use a business account, you can also pay for all accounts separately. Look at the individual prices of the bunq plans you're going to use and decide which way is cheaper for you.

                  wht would she have to do to make this go as smooth as possible?

                  Nothing. After you opened the pack on the account of your choice, you can then invite her to join. She just has to accept the invitation in her bunq app. Done.

                    If I decide to open the pack and I invite her will her personal account he automatically be cancelled/transferred to the pack?

                      @Ominira#234209 Nothing will change about her account. The pack only makes it so that she doesn't have to pay fees for her plan (Easy Bank or Easy Money) anymore. Otherwise, the pack doesn't connect your accounts in any way.

                      She will still have to pay incidental fees by herself (for example for withdrawing money at an ATM more times per month than is included in her plan) and if she's using Easy Green, she still has to pay the difference between Easy Money and Easy Green plan by herself.

                      She can also decide to leave the pack and pay for her plan by herself at any time in the future. It's very similar to subscription plans like the Spotify Family pack etc. -- the individual members still have their own account, their own listening history etc. they just don't have to pay for the Premium subscription by themselves and with the bunq Pack the same is true: the members have their own accounts that they can do what they want with and nothing gets disclosed about their payment behavior etc. to the owner of the Pack, only their plan fees are covered by it. That's also the reason why so many people share their bunq Pack with strangers here: https://together.bunq.com/d/26999/1563 It's an easy way to safe some money.

                      I hope this answers your questions, if not feel free to ask again. Also check out the information pages from bunq: https://together.bunq.com/d/313

                        Hi guys,

                        I have a question that is related. I do have a business bunq account now. To make this account I had to make a personal account as well (currently a fee savings account).

                        Now I'm thinking about moving my regular personal account on ING to the personal bunq one. And upgrading that one to either easy money or easy banking.

                        I do have a couple of questions:

                        1. Which is the better choice. Easy money of banking. I live in a Van traveling Europe so I do pay in different countries and different currencies.
                        2. I already have a card that I use for my business. Can I link the Iban from a potential new personal account to this business debit mastercard with a separate pin. Or do I need a second card for that. Because if not then I can get a free Mastercard as I'm aloud 1 free card with easy money for example.
                        3. Do I pay the 0.13 cents if I transfer money from my business bunq account (main income) to the potential new personal bunq account. Or is this not seen as a transfer as it is all in the bunq environment.

                        Looking forward to you response. Already had so many questions answered on this forum, so thanks for that!

                          @New-Green-Bear-1117625748#284701 Hi!

                          1. If you want local currency accounts, Easy Money is the better choice. You can easily compare the plans on bunq.com
                          2. No, the personal and business account aren't connected. So you can't use personal cards for business accounts or vice versa. The Easy Money plan includes three cards, the Easy Bank account one.
                          3. Yes, all transactions to and from business accounts have transaction costs.
