Hi @all,

I'm new as a bunq user (since a month). First of all: It's amazing. And I used N26 before ;-)

I would recommend to ask all users to post in English, as I am from Germany and often posts are in Dutch only. What do you think?

    Hi Christian πŸ™‹

Welcome to bunq- glad to have you as a fellow bunqer 🌈. Thanks so much for the compliment πŸ€—.

I think this sounds like a great idea! We do all of our communications in English, so it would be great if bunqers wish to use it as well.

With this being said, we do respect users writing in their native languages πŸ™†!

What do other bunqers think of this? πŸ™‚

@Christian, do you prefer bunq or N26?

There is only one possible answer for this question :)

Hi Christian, that is of course a great idea. I'm Dutch, but because of a variety of nationalities here I try to use English as often as possible, so everybody can follow the discussion. Occasionally I post a comment in Dutch if someone has a question and doesn't speak English (that well).

If you ever want to learn a new language, then Dutch should be on top of your list πŸ˜„πŸ‡΅

I have used N26 before as my main bank more several months. And there is no way to compare it to bunq. Bunq is superior in every point. And the customer service from N26 is really really bad.

Am German. Learned Dutch. Geen spijt - no regrets πŸ˜¬πŸ‡³πŸ‡©πŸŒˆ

I prefer English. Being a coder for over 20 years I spend most of my weekdays with English text so it has become my second native language, aside from Dutch. In fact, I often even think in English even though I’m 100% native Dutch. (as far as that is possible given the many migrations we’ve had for many centuries)

                  Itβ€˜s easy to answer: bunq!

The user experience is so much better than in N26. The app of N26 is a little bit buggy.

And you can not compare the customer service from bunq with N26. Bunq is by far much better.

But N26 has a web portal and by far the coolest Mastercard. And by far the ugliest Maestro πŸ˜‚

And a free 5 day Dutch training program included in Premium πŸ˜„

Een fusie van beiden zou het beste product geven (wel de plussen samenvoegen).

Apps samenvoegen, support van bunq, passen met functionaliteiten van N26 en prijsstelling van N26.

                          I also prefer english.

It is always difficult to translate the dutch comments with google translstor.

Bitte besser auf Englisch schreiben. Es ist einfacher und praktischer für alle 😁.

I prefer English, but why not add a translate button like Twitter and Facebook have? Both from and to English.

Great idea Michael! A translation button would be great! :-)
