No news here. I have filed a formal complaint but I doubt I will ever hear back based on the service and responsiveness so far…Hi All, exact same issue here… I transferred a substantial amount of money (in EUR as a currency) from E*trade to bunq on 20th of March and still nothing… I’ve opened multiple payment investigations and support tickets, even reached out to bunq on Twitter but haven’t heard anything back 😣
That’s exactly the steps I followed… I would hope money doesn’t just vanish away but I’ve made similar transfer to other banks in the past and usually got the money within 1-2 days, it’s been 3 weeks now and I haven’t got the money nor any kind of logical response form bunq so I’m not so sure anymore… by the looks of it I’m not the only one affected.

Have you ever got your money back or taken legal action?
I’m having the exact same situations and it’s becoming beyond frustrating… A wire transfer from Morgan Stanley was completed on 20/03/24 and I still haven’t received my money. Morgan Stanley confirmed that everything was cleared on their side ages ago and the issue is on bunq side, they even provided various types of payment tracking numbers to help the investigation.
I submitted a payment investigation in bunq app over a week ago, was told I would hear back within 1-3 business days but obviously heard nothing.
I then created an SOS support ticket and the agent told me they COULDN’T FIND the payment and advised me to create another payment investigation because they COULDN’T FIND the first investigation I submitted either. It’s a real mess. The agent allegedly created another investigation on my behalf but unsurprisingly I’ve still not had any news as to where my money is…
It’s shocking how bad the service is and that when your money goes missing you can’t even speak to a human and can only send messages to an AI chat bot that provides no help but a bunch of rainbow emojis…
