    I’m trying to transfer some funds to a foreign bank (Egypt). The recipient provided me with an account number and SWIFT code. The transaction is from my USD account and is also in USD. The problem is that bunq only accepts an IBAN number or so it seems. Am I missing something? I know that ING for instance accepts the account number and swift code without the need for a specific IBAN number.

    • I have the same issue. It used to work, then only with a slight delay, then only after 24 h or so. Now it doesn’t work altogether. Hope this gets fixed soon as this is one of the core features that I use for my insights and budgeting as well.

        • I just wanna say that i agree with almost all the stuff mentioned about V3. But what i wanted to add is that after reading most of the topics here on Together Bunq now has objectively (!) the voice of the customer right in front of them. And it contradicts many of the choices (design wise and company direction wise) Bunq has made. For instance where is the majority of 81% who voted for green stuff in the app?

          What I think is that Bunq can’t make enough money of off the subscriptions and is now trying to up-sell every customer to the most expensive subscription and trying to make money with advertisements.

          So if Bunq wants to make it seem that they care about its customers, then they take (for real!) their wants and needs into consideration. Imho that would be more of a V2.5 than a V3 which we have now.

          In conclusion i think the most troublesome aspect of this whole update is that Bunq took away the feeling of being in control and having the flexibility and the choice as an individual user to do more with your own money than any conventional bank could ever offer. And they replaced this with a sense of being lost and being force fed things they never asked for. That is what V3 symbolizes. And that, in my opinion, contradicts being the Bank of the free.

          • Ongekend slechte communicatie van Bunq. Dit kan alleen maar meer schade aan de toch al wankelende reputatie betekenen. Ik stond op het punt om al mijn rekeningen over te zetten naar Bunq, gelukkig dat ik dit niet heb gedaan. In de korte tijd dat ik bij Bunq zit heb ik alleen maar abrupte beëindiging van pakketten gezien.

            En als Bunq hier nu (weer) mee weg komt, wie zegt dat dit niet een volgende keer weer gebeurd?

            Conclusie: als dit niet wordt heroverwogen dan ga ik net zoals velen mijn rekeningen opzeggen.
