Ik snap totaal niet waar mijn bsn ingevuld moet worden

    Have you been asked specifically from support about your BSN number?
    If not, follow the flow for setting up your account.
    All the needed information are requested.
    BSN number by the way should be visible on the images of your Dutch documents you need to upload.

        You need then to open a support request via the App:

        I would mention in the text your BSN number and attach also clear pictures of a Dutch 🇳🇱 official document like ID, Driving License, resident permit or passport where clearly BSN is indicated.

        Better to upload front and back of your document. Might shorten time for getting your request executed.

          @New-Red-Quokka-1049358817#242949 I am sorry 🙏 for double message. If you open already your account with bunq, you did not have a BSN when open account?
          If you had it already in the documents you used to open the account, your BSN is already added to your info.
          I never had to provide it separately and I am sure it is associated as I can receive money from the Belastingdienst with no issues.

              Yup, the Bunq app asked for my BSN some weeks after being activated. I had to enter the BSN manually. My passport was already checked long before that.

                10 months later

                Ik kreeg ook een mail dat ik mijn BSN in moest vullen (leuk als in de footer staat "bunq en de medewerkers van bunq vragen je nooit buiten de bunq app om persoonlijke gegevens..." ;-)
                Ik was voor mijn idee ook de hele app al door geweest, maar op het Home tabblad stond een Openstaand event "Vul je belastinginformatie in". Begin maart, dus ik had belastingaangifte in gedachte, maar daar kan je dus je BSN invullen!!

                  It means that they don't ask you to input it anywhere outside the app (for example on random websites). You still get email notifications about new events inside the app, but you can always manually open the app on your phone and check them out without interacting with the email.

                  Seems like the Dutch translation might not be perfect here. The app is developed in English and then translated to other languages like Dutch afterwards, so slight mistakes can happen. If you report them to bunq through a support ticket, they should get fixed :)

                    Thanks for reaching out! As a bank, we're legally required to ask for your tax info. In order to prevent fraud and tax evasion, the Dutch government shares citizens' tax information based on the Common Reporting Standard (CRS). 💶 bunq allows you 90 days to provide this - will you be receiving a BSN before then?

                    If you're in the process of getting a BSN, but believe it'll take longer than 90 days, please reach out to support and let them know when you expect to receive it. Once you receive it, you can send it to support via our encrypted in-app support chat. If you don't receive/make progress on receiving a TIN in this time, we'll have to close your account, as it'll not be in compliance with a T&C's.
