• Budgeting/Spending Insights (still) completely broken

After Update 20? 21? I tried out the new concept for budgeting with different subaccounts for different categories but quickly discovered that it was most impractical and mostly caused more work rather than making life easier.
So I closed all the subaccounts and am now back at one account in which I simply assign categories to payments afterwards to make my spending insights more meaningful. This used to work well, but since February the Spending Insights are just plain wrong. My monthly scheduled rent payment on the 1st of each month is more than what my Spending Insights report for the entire month so far. Some payments just don‘t show up at all. The Spending Insights currently report about 80€ less than that single payment.

And now that I‘m back to one account there is no option anywhere to edit my monthly budget. So I get push notifications for approaching limits that are nowhere to be found. The app seems to half-remember some budget I set ages ago and now reminds me of spending limits I can’t change while presenting me with obviously false info in my spending insights.

This is useless.

I want the old behavior back. One Account, assign categories to payments, set limits for categories to get notified when approaching them.

And please finally fix the “all similar payments” behavior when assigning categories by removing that option altogether. This NEVER does what it’s supposed to. I either want “this payment only” or “all FUTURE payments to this recipient” or “all FUTURE payments at this location” or sth similar. Every time I accidentally hit the “all similar payments” option, I had to go back and fix months of broken spending insights. This also generates more work instead of reducing it.

"Contacting in the app" doesn't help. I was simply redirected twice to the bug from 2022.

Instead of adding "new" features you'd better fixed this one. I believe - it's the core feature for the majority of your customers. Please roll-back, dedicate more resources or do whatever else but fix it. Thank you.
