Hey bunqers đ
At bunq, we try to keep you informed on each and every detail. In this topic, weâll explain how your Cashback is calculated, so you can better calculate your spend next time you hop on the bus, or go to restaurants and bars đŞ
How is Cashback calculated?
- Our system detects if the card used has been an eligible one
- If the Merchant Category Code and your card are eligible ones, Cashback feature gets triggered
- We take the whole sum youâve paid and multiply it by the relevant percentage
- The calculated Cashback gets rounded if itâs necessary
How do I calculate my Cashback as an Easy Bank Pro XL user?
Easy Bank Pro XL users get 2% Cashback on public transportation and 1% at restaurants and bars. An example calculation will go as follows:
Public Transportation payment
Youâve paid âŹ9 for a daily ticket with your Credit Mastercard. We take the 2% of the âŹ9 payment to calculate your earnings. The Cashback youâll earn back in your billing account will be âŹ9 x 2% = âŹ0.18.
Restaurants and bars
Youâre at the restaurant and you decide to pay the âŹ200 bill with your Credit Mastercard. We take the 1% of the âŹ200 payment to calculate your earnings. The Cashback youâll earn back in your billing account will be âŹ200 x 1% = âŹ2.
Where can I see if I've earned Cashback?
If your payment is eligible for earning Cashback, you can see Cashback Earned by checking the payment details - just follow these easy steps:
- Go to Home
- Tap on your card
- Under Transactions find and click on your payment
- See Cashback Earned
When and where will I receive my Cashback?
