How do you determine which payments qualify for Cashback?
The payments that are eligible for earning Cashback are determined by the categories assigned by Mastercard’s Merchant Category Codes.
Restaurants & Bars
- Fast Food Restaurants
- Eating Places, Restaurants
- Bars, Cocktail Lounges, Discotheques, Nightclubs, and Taverns – Drinking Places (Alcoholic Beverages)
- Caterers
- Bakeries
Public Transportation
- Transportation – Suburban and Local Commuter Passenger, including Ferries
- Passenger Railways
- Bus lines
- Transportation Service
Keep in mind that Cashback won't be earned if the merchant has a different Mastercard Merchant Category code other than the ones listed above.

Which cards are eligible for Cashback?
Only payments made with the following cards will qualify for Cashback:
- Credit Mastercard
- Metal Credit Mastercard
- Virtual credit card
Payments made with Debit Card (Maestro), Debit Card (Mastercard), Direct Debits, or iDeal are not eligible for Cashback.
How can I see if my card is eligible?
You can easily see if your card is eligible for Cashback by following the steps below:
- Go to 🏠 Home
- Tap on your card
- Check if it has the ✅ Cashback label
Any existing Credit Mastercard is also eligible for Cashback - no need to order a new one.
