We love to see our Business clients grow with time and, when they do, sometimes they naturally need to change their Business’ legal form.
With bunq, you can change your Business Account’s legal form fast and easy. Below you’ll find all the info you need in order to do so 🙌
How can I change my Business’ legal form?
You should simply provide us with the following information through our Support Center:
- The new company KvK number with the new legal form of the company;
- Some context for the change of the legal form;
- We may ask you for further information regarding your company.

What's next?
After you submit the necessary documents, our team will review your request and assess the proposed changes within 7 business days. If all documents needed are present and in order, we'll adjust your legal form accordingly. However, if any required documentation is missing, we will request the necessary documents through the Support Center.
Can my request get rejected?
You'll have 30 days to provide us with the needed documents. If you don’t provide the documents within the specified period, we’ll have to put your request on hold. Additionally, if your business's legal form, activities, or structure don't align with our acceptance policy, we would have to decline your request.
What are the accepted legal forms?
You’re still eligible for a bunq Business Account if the new legal form matches one of the listed here.
