Really great that you can add non-bunqers to a Slice Group. The only thing missing is that it only works with telephone numbers and not with email. One friend of mine doesn't have a mobile phone (yes they exist...), so I still have to use the request function and manually calculate and split the expenses.
I just received a delayed notification on my Apple Watch from a transaction from yesterday at McDonald's. Only I didn't went to McDonalds! Fortunately no skimming or anything but it turns out that this must be my yesterdays purchase at EkoPlaza (same amount, same time) and the notification inaccurately showed the wrong merchant... Hope bunq can fix this asap.
And disabling Dodgy Payments shows the same behaviour.
When I change and save the limit of the Dodgy Payments from € 250 to € 50 initially the new limit is being displayed in the Daily Limits screen. But when I return to Security & Settings and revisit the Daily Limits screen the Dodgy Payments has been reset to € 250.
I'm using bunq 8.9.0 on iOS 12.
@Ward#36709 Yes, after connecting Bunq to Eypo I immediately deleted the four other accounts in the Eypo settings screen.
@Hein#36526 I just removed all my accounts and then connected only my main payment account and now all transactions are listed once.
Playing with the app I have to say that I like the minimalist GUI of the app, and its easyness to swipe and assign categories.
In my case all transactions are listed 5 times. Don't know if it is related at all, but I also have 5 accounts...
Does this work with the standard iCloud backup or only with an encrypted iTunes backup?
In 2015 I read an inspiring article in NRC Handelsblad about bunq being the ‘WhatsApp for banks’ and it made me curious enough to download the app immediately. At that time I had just transferred from Rabobank to Triodos, mainly because of the bad investments of Rabobank. And than all of a sudden there was bunq, all digital and innovative without the bad stuff.
After spending a few years with the app – and much appreciating the growing number of features and the transformation into a grown-up user interface – it was the introduction of Apple Pay that finally made me switch from Triodos to bunq. And I’m glad I did it. Triodos may be the best of all the old dutch banks, but still did investments that weren’t my cup of tea. Also they sended an unnecessary printed and plasticized magazine periodically. And they have an app from the stone-age…
In the four months that I’ve used bunq as my only bank it striked me that I have gotten a much better insight in my spendings through the notifications, the use of piggy banks and because I spend way more time in bunq's money app than I did with the others.
And it’s no secret that I really love the request functionality :)
In de iOS bunq app kan je in het zoekveld het e-mail adres invoeren, ook al staat deze niet in je adresboek.
@vampjon#26713 Yes could be. Strangely the (same) image loads perfectly in the Design Suggestions #2 thread, but that's a ported discussion...
Still can't view my discussion ( https://together.bunq.com/d/3183-calculator-improvements ) in Together via the bunq app (iOS)... This is what I get after clicking on it:
Here's another approach for selecting multiple payments for a request: a 'select button' in the events screen.
Same here. Yesterday I started a new discussion, https://together.bunq.com/d/3183-calculator-improvements , but I can't view it in Together (iOS) via the bunq app. It only shows a blank page. However the discussion is viewable in both mobile and desktop Safari.
The new calculator function in the payment/request screen is awesome for adding some amount of payments together. But most of the time the payments that I want to calculate are only visible in the bunq app and it’s not possible to make calculations and jump back and forth between the payments overview and the payment/request screen.
A solution would be if I could copy an amount from the payments overview and paste it in the calculation function in the Payment/Request screen, and repeat the same steps until my adding up is complete.
A better solution is something I proposed in the Design suggestions #2 thread: an option to select payments which I want to add up.
As a regular user of the request functionality, most of the times my requests are from multiple payments like i.e. expenses from a day trip with friends and I have to add up those payments manually. It would be great if I could select the expenses from within the request environment.
I know that the Slice app does this already, but by enabling this functionality in the bunq app the request recipients don't have to be bunq users (which is alway the case when I slice).
When I click on the 'Match Requirements' dropdown in a category filter I get the following error:
It happens when I want to edit an existing category rule and when I create a new one. Because of the bug now I can only use the default selected option ('Require all rules to match'). I'm using 0.8.9 on Mac OS 10.13.5.
Yes, but with the big advantage that this time the request recipients don't have to be bunq users (and having the Slice app installed). Which is alway the case when I slice. And you can do it from one app.
