  • @Joeri-Silver-Lynx#199972 Hi thanks for your input but I do definitely prefer to use bunq over revolut or some other app but I will check it out. Right now I have 4 active virtual cards. None frozen and deactivated I cannot view at all do you have this feature from your end where you can see your deactivated cards? I can only see deactivated Iban accounts. But I check from PayPal some old transactions and I was able to find some that used virtual cards that date before the 12 month period. Thus my limit should reset but it does not. All I get from bunq support is "we will forward this to ours developers so they can check properly" but months pass they do nothing then again the same story I message the support and they say same story for developers I never ending loop. This been going on for 5 months or so.

    • Still no solution. I cannot create any more virtual cards although I ve been told repeatedly by bunq support that the limit is 20 virtual cards in a time frame of 12 months and not in a calendar year and I presented them proof of me having transactions with virtual cards that they include in the 12 months period that actually dates way long before that and therefore they should not be included. It was escalated to developers but they didn't do anything. Does any one face this issue like me where he cannot create virtual cards?

      • @Manuel-LesLilas#194000 Yes it's the creation date that matters I ve been back and forth many times about this topic with bunq support.

        • @Ajara#193520 It's great to hear that virtual cards will remain available for all bunquers. Let me know how soon you can fix my issue as I cannot anymore virtual cards and the bug is not fixed on my end I have uploaded to you the proof from past transactions that show some of my cards that were accounted in the total of 20 cards per 12 months are actually older than 12 months and therefore my limit needs to be adjusted. Thank you

          • @Jakob-Y#193404 I believe it counts from the moment of creation of the card. It says 20 cards annual and I have confirmed it by bunq that's its 20 cards within the past 12 months.

            • @LH-Black-Wolf#193388 No they forwarded the issue about the card limit to the developers again. The first time it was during June and then after a month or so I got a message from the developers that there is no bug and the limit on my account is correct which is absolutely not true because I have proof and I sent them screenshots of transactions with cards used that are older than 1 year and therefore should not account to the 20 cards annual limit I hope this time they do a proper work and fix it let's see.

              • I have an update today from customer support here is what they told me. "Thank you for your message. I understand that there has been some confusion and miscommunication about the online cards.

We won't stop providing online cards and with your Premium subscription you will be able to order 5 free cards and add a 'bundle' of 5 card to your subscription for €9,99 with a limit of 20 online cards per year. "
So this means the previous two customer support agents were either misinformed or lying ad I also didn't believe they would stop online cards overall.

                • And another reply was "Hello Mikis,👋

What Martin have told you is correct, we just haven't updated our together topic yet.

I will go ahead and report it to the moderators.

                  Have a great day!"

                  • @Jakob-Y#193184 This is what they told me "We no longer offer online cards as a feature, actually. So even if your online cards were created over a year ago, you will not be able to create new ones, because we no longer support this feature, and the limit will no longer reset."

                    • In fact today another support employee told me the same that cards will stop working soon and they will update it on together as well. Make a question please from your side let's see what they will tell you

                      • While talking with bunq support as there is an obvious issue and they claim I cannot create anymore cards because I reached the 20 cards limit I uploaded some prrof with transactions showing some cards that were used prior to 1 year which means they are older and my limit should refresh. Then he told me that bunq no longer offers virtual cards and I will no longer be able to use them. Really?? I am shocked. I hope he is joking or simply misinformed I wouldn't want to assume that he is lying to me.

                        • @Bastiaan#162768 Currently in Bulgaria

                          • @Tim#162452 I see it's still 25euro here

                            • I believe it would be very beneficial during this time that we face the covid-19 pandemic to have the ability for increased limits on contactless single payments without the need of entering the pin. My suggestion is to increase it from 25euro to 50euro single contactless payment without pin. That way when we often use the bunq card for shopping for groceries we won't need to enter pin and more importantly we ll avoid the process and it's safer that way for us due to the virus it can transmit from such surfaces when we are entering the pin on the store.
