    • @Sander#98957 Thanks for your replies. Is it possible to refer her for a Travel Card as a premium user and would I just use the “normal” referral option within my apps settings? But that would get her a one month premium which she would have to downgrade to Travel Card then?

      • @JeroenE#98930 For some reasons the translate function didn’t translate that but I figured out your message after all.

The Travel Card really seems to be a good option for her. I agree the “Invite 3 for free” is a bit strange but it helps spreading the word about bunq if done reasonable.

AFAIK MasterCard is a better option than Maestro in Denmark. Way higher fees with the latter one.

        • @LH-Black-Wolf#98924 I doubt she is willing to pay a monthly fee for “just” a credit card right now and will prefer a free option. So I am afraid it’s either me upgrading to Joint or her getting a Travel Card by herself (which she might need anyway when joining Joint).

Makes me wonder what you downgrade to after the free month of premium when “Free” is no longer an option. 🤔

          • @Sander#98915 Thanks for your reply and opinion.

So since Free is no longer an option, you now must have a Travel Card in order to become part of a Joint membership anyway?

I need it check the fees for the Travel Card in detail. Cash withdrawals do cost 0,99€ each afaik. And Apple Pay will be supported by end of July which would be fine time-wise. Paying in DKK is no different than it would be for me as a premium user, isn’t it?

            • My significant other will be leaving Germany for several months in order to study in Denmark. She is currently having a traditional bank account at a German bank and is also a bit skeptical about modern banking. For her stay in Denmark she is now wanting to get a credit card and thus I was looking for options at bunq of course.

I am a bunq premium user for a couple months now and very happy with everything. I wouldn’t mind upgrading to Joint so she can also use all the features bunq offers. This would require her to sign up for a free account at least or get a Travel Card, wouldn’t it? Or would it be enough for her to just get a Travel Card without me upgrading to Joint right now?

What do you recommend? I am actually a bit overwhelmed by the different options of free account, Travel Card (which is basically also a free account with a credit card?) and Joint.

                • I am currently in the process of moving all my banking stuff to bunq.

My main concern was having no access in case my phone breaks so I checked if the app also works on my iPad as a fallback. Was disappointed to see it being an iPhone app only but even that is a thing of the past now. :)

                  • I have set up a couple reoccurring monthly payments like for rent. They all are supposed to be done on the first of each month. Today one payment has been refused due to my daily limit set up on the bank account.

Not a big deal but I think it would be nice if the app would warn me that the sum of planned payments are exceeding my daily limit when I set them up. Or when I reduce my daily limit that it won’t be sufficient for planned payments.

                    • Mh both of my arms are already fully covered with tattoos so basically I am ruled out, aye?
