  • @master#293513 I’d like to opt-out as well, I know what I’m doing and I just want the convenience of instant transfers instead of my payment being delayed for a day.

    • I’ve just received an email apologizing for yesterday’s new login email notification and with that I came to know about the “new way of accessing your accounts, enabling you to see your company accounts on the Home screen”.

I would like to keep my personal and business subscriptions separate and was wondering if there’s a way of disabling this new feature?

I know I can make them invisible through the visibility menu but (the business account name doesn’t go away and) there are other small things like having to choose between my personal and business subscriptions when choosing “Personal Information” under the profile of my personal subscription.

Also worth mentioning that, despite being blurred in my business subscription, the balances of my business accounts were not blurred when they first started showing under my personal subscription, thus not protecting my privacy.

      • @JohnDo#212531 I used my travelcard at Sixt back in September with no questions asked. But had my traditional credit card with me just in case 🥲

        • I went around this thread thumbs-upping individual posts but thought I should also leave a comment.

This is yet another change bunq presents as “We’ve asked our users... and”.
I agree getting feedback from your user base is good (provided your focus group is representative) and I know there are also technical and business considerations. Maybe the feature was not accurate enough? Lots of false positives? Or maybe it was too expensive? (That would be a bit harder to swallow since bunq premium users already pay a significant amount for their subscriptions).

My point is bunq needs to do better when communicating changes to its unique selling points, with the risk of alienating more and more customers.

All in all I’m disappointed. I enjoyed the peace of mind the hand scanning feature gave me and it was one of the features I was really impressed with when a friend told me about bunq in 2017.

          • Don’t know if this is the right place to report bugs bug I think there’s a bug in the account aliases, I can see my partner’s email and phone number as aliases to my own (not joint) account

            • @DaLi#171187 long press in the profile tab

              • @Richard-Yellow-Shark#171179 I’m not a fan of the Us tab either but that’s a different subject.

In hindsight I can see why they went for a long press in the Profile tab, it’s just something that should have been communicated to the user upon their first login to the new app.
This is also a lost opportunity to upsell business accounts to current private customers as a regular user will have no clear indication they could also open a business account with bunq.

                • @Niek#171023 Thanks Niek and Richard.

This is actually something that’s easy to get used to but long press discoverability has always been an issue.

                  • @samsdererste#171019 I’m very interested about the answer to question #1 since I cannot find a way to switch to my business account
