Looking to replace a card that was stolen, lost or has just gotten old? You can easily request a new card within the bunq app!
You get one free card replacement each year for one of your Wildcards.
Replacements costs for Metal Cards come with a €129 fee.
You can request as many card replacements as you'd like.
This applies to cards that:
- Have not arrived within 2 weeks.
- Did you make sure you entered the correct address? This topic can show you how to check your address is correct in the app.
- May have gotten some extra wear and tear.
- Have accidentally gotten stolen or lost.
I want a new card. How do I replace my current card?
Follow the steps below to see how to replace your current bunq card:
- Go to Home and tap on Cards.
- Select the card you want a replacement for
- Tap on ⚡️ at the bottom of your screen.
- Select Replace Card
- Edit card details (if applicable) and select Next
- Review the information and select Get Your Card
- You can Add your Card to Apple Pay or select Not now on the confirmation screen and you're all set!

Anything over the one free replacement per year will cost €9 to account for production costs. You can find more information in our pricing doc here.

Don't worry, the replacement will be free. You'll receive a push notification in your bunq app asking you to confirm your current address and a new card will be sent your way! 💳
