  • Hi bunqers,

Does anyone need a short-stay place in a Pack. I have one available for Personal or Business. I can only offer it for a limited and unsure time, but might be suitable for anyone who is ‘in between Packs or in between plans’ to avoid unnecessary billing.

Price per day is €0,50 - per week is €2,-

Just reply To this post and we’ll het in touch.

      • To bring new life in this thread:

It would be great to be able to add an alias or something similar to the contacts in the Address Book. Is bunq working on something along these lines?

        • Hi All,
It has been proposed earlier, bit can’t find the status of this feature request:

In stead of having to increase your daily limit (e.g. for a debit request), approving the payment and then lowering the limit back to its original setting again…. it would be so cool to be able to increase your limit for a one-off transaction (or just one day or even to a set date).

So being able to temporarily increase your daily limit without the risk of forgetting to lower it again afterwards.

          • Today, after an in depth chat with Support, I learned the following:

On any specific price plan (in my case Easy Money) there is a limit on the number of free physical cards (3 with Easy Money). When you sign up, you are totally free in your choice what cards you get: any combination of Maestro Debit or Master Credit cards is fine. But....

You CANNOT ever change this choice in the future (never!).This is irrespective of cards coming to their End of Live (expiry date) or wether or not they are Frozen. Even if they have been Blocked! You will never be able to change this choice and you are stuck with the choice you made when you joined bunq (or the choice you later made when you reached your limit of three cards). If you would like to change the ‘mixture’ of your cards, you will have to pay the additional fee of €9 for the new card. It will be seen as an additional (extra, surpassing your limit of free cards) card meaning you will pay the cost of an additional card.
This, even if you would request that ‘change’ at the same moment of (one of your) cards expiry date. So despite the fact that it would not cost bunq anything, you pay for an additional fee.

My idea is to ask bunq to change this policy, as it does not correlate to an organization that prides itself as being the ‘bank of the free’.

Please support this request if you would like the freedom of choice to change your mix of cards.

            Maybe bunq will listen.

            Cheers,
            André

            • Hi Jakob,

Thanks for you insights. Am I correct in assuming you work for bunq?

              • Hi bunq people,

Despite the fact that I get that it’s really cool to be innovative, you can sometimes loose your followers when you go a little bit too far! So let me start by giving you all (ALL bunq staff) my compliments for your enthusiasm and your innovative culture!!! And I mean that without reservation.

But that does bring me to my concern:
I personally find the new user interface a game changer in a negative way. I do understand that a new UI gets some time to get used to, but this one is so huge and contains so many things that I utterly dislike, that it might turn out to be a game changer for me - e.g. switching to a bunq-competitor. That in itself will also put me on a path of a steep learning curve (again: getting used to a new UI...), but at least I then get to choose what I would like to get used to....
I assume that it is absolutely obvious that I would rather avoid all that and STAY with bunq!!!

But in order to make that choice (at least for now) I need your help, as I cannot find any reassurance from Together that bunq is soaking up the feedback:
Are you actually considering to bring back the old UI? Or are you at least considering to give users the option of getting rid of a lot of cluttering gadgets on the UI as has been repeatedly reported on Together.
If you are seriously considering taking the given feedback into account, I perfectly understand that you cannot give garanties up front on what those changes will boil down to, so that is not what I’m looking for. I DO however, would like to get an honest reply in case bunq is NOT considering such a move - I can then take an informed decision on my further actions in an open way, without incorrect expectations.

So again: Please help me manage my expectations as a bunq customer and provide me with honest and open information as to what course bunq is planning to run.

Thank you in advance an hoping for a serious and elaborate reply.

                Kind regards,
                André

                • Maybe a stupid question:
Since when is the printed info on the back (black part) of the card?
                  My old cards look nicer...

                  • A question now that MassInterest can be toggled ON or OFF:
How does a member of a pack toggling the MassInterest to OFF effect the distribution of the MassInterest cap among the rest of the pack-members?

                    • Great idea!
                      Any comments, bunq?

                      • @JeroenE#72680 Perhaps it’s a social experiment - how far cab you go in confusing your customers
                        😂

                        • A long time ago, I have suggested a feature in which the account is charged based on the terminal at which you paid. Eg: certain grocery shops are charged from a certain predominated account...
This has never gone anywhere and I haven’t seen any recent replies to it.

                          • Thanks for the help. Swipe left did it for me.

BTW (just for info): I am not a new user but nevertheless get (got) the banner...

                            • Hi all,

I recently noticed an annoying pop-up in the bottom of my screen obscuring some of my view. It read something like “need money for your next big thing”.

How do I turn that off, cause it really bothers me...

                              Cheers,

                              André

                              • Awesome - this feature would also enable implementing my wish for conditionally charging an account when making card-payments depending on what you use the card for....

                                Go for it bunq !!!

                                • Automatic linking of cards

                                  Hey bunq-people,

A repeat of an earlier message which somehow ended up being a remark:

I've seen many comments and questions regarding temporary linking of cards to accounts, as apparently it often happens that payments are made from an unintended account. Apart from the ideas already shared, what about 'conditional linking'?

I picture this as one or more of the following. Automatically linking a card based on:

                                  - Geographical position;

                                  - The name/company (or the account) payed to;

                                  - Some form of timeframe...

                                  - The amount of money available on an account?

                                  - Whatever else you guys and galls come up with.

Naturally, when none of the conditions are met or set by the user, the 'default choice' (whatever is set in exactly the same way this is done now...) will apply.

                                  Thanks for even reading this!

                                  Best regards,

                                  André

                                  • Hoi Ali,

                                    Dank alvast!

                                    Groet,
