How can I earn Cashback with my Business account?

Your Business Account comes with money saving perks! When using your bunq Credit Card or any of your Employees’ Cards, you earn up to 1% Cashback, paid out weekly.

What Cashback can I earn?

As a bunq Free Business or bunq Core Business user with verified Business account, you automatically earn 0.5% Cashback on every purchase made with your Credit Card or Virtual Credit Card.
As a bunq Pro Business or bunq Elite Business user with a verified Business account or Employee Access you can automatically get 1% Cashback on each purchase you make with your Credit Card, Virtual Credit Card, or Employee Cards.
Link your Business or Employee Card to your Personal Bank Account and earn 1% Cashback on every purchase made with the card.

Note 1: Business Cashback is only available for cards ordered through your Business account.

Note 2: bunq Elite users can invite up to 2 friends to earn more Cashback together. More details can be found here.

Note 3: Cashback is only earned on payments made with a bunq Credit Card or Employee Credit Card linked to a bunq Pro or bunq Elite Business account. Payments made with Debit Cards aren’t eligible for Cashback.

How can I link my Employee Card to my Personal Bank Account?

Go to your 🏠 Home tab
Tap on your Business Card
Tap on “Auto Select” under “Pay From”
Select a Personal Bank Account of your choice

How is Cashback calculated and paid out?

Cashback will be paid out each week based on the Business account’s Payday settings. The payout is being transferred to the Business account’s billing Bank Account. Once the Business account receives bunq Payday, you’ll be able to see each payment that earned Cashback directly in the Payday event by tapping on “Cashback earned”.

Keep in mind that only payments that’ve been fully settled will receive Cashback.

Example calculations

bunq Free Business and bunq Core Business users

You’re purchasing an office printer using your Business account’s Credit Mastercard or Employee Card. Your total bill is €1000. We take 0.5% of the €1000 payment to calculate your earnings. The Cashback you’ll earn back in your billing account will be €1000 x 0.5% = €5.

bunq Pro Business and bunq Elite Business users

You’re purchasing a laptop using your Business account’s Credit Mastercard or Employee Card. Your total bill is €2500. We take 1% of the €2500 payment to calculate your earnings. The Cashback you’ll earn back in your billing account will be €2500 x 1% = €25.
