Availability for EEA citizens and residents
All citizens of the European Economic Area that are residents in the countries that we operate (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden) can sign up for bunq. If you're not a European citizen but you live in one of the countries that we work in, please check which documents can be used to sign up.
In case you're a Politically Exposed Person, additional conditions may apply.

Availability for Minors
Itβs possible to open a bunq account if you're under 18 years old. You'll need permission from a legal guardian who will also need to have an account with us before you can start using your own. Since 14th of March, you can open a minor account only if you provide the correct documents during your first verification attempt, so that we can keep our 5-minute promise for you. Read more here.
Can people under legal guardianship open a bunq account?

Can people with pending bankruptcy open a bunq account?
